Gosh, it’s March already! I’m still trying to catch my breath after my sprint around the country to promote my book. Feels like I just got back last night although It’s a week since I came home. Anyhow, the response to my book on the tour was, and continues to be, a positive one, which is to say, people seem to be enjoying ‘A Good Deed & Other Stories’. And that for me is the main thing. That people enjoy reading the book.
It was good to see so many familiar faces at Paddy Reilly’s last Wednesday. It was my first time playing there in about five years and it certainly felt good to be back on that hallowed stage, from which many’s the musician has fallen (myself included) to the floor below it. Blame guinness. Thankfully the time I fell I was shielded by my guitar. The guitar went down ahead of me and there was hardly a dent on it afterwards. So in more ways than one, I will say, my life has been saved by my guitar……
Happily there was a very good turnout for Andrew Grene’s memorial tribute.
